Before working with leaders, I was one — building companies, turning businesses around, and navigating the complexity that comes with real responsibility. That experience is what I bring into every engagement.

A strategy may look the same on paper. But it will never be applied the same way depending on who holds the wheels.

Every leader is different — their background, their personality, the way they think and make decisions. There is no one-size-fits-all. What works for one person, one team, one organisation will not work for another. So I never arrive with a predetermined answer. I start with the person in front of me.

Strategy and people are not two separate things. They are the same thing. That's why I work at the intersection of both.

The thinking behind the practice

I started my career in investment banking — working across Europe and Asia before moving to New York. Different markets, different cultures, high-pressure decisions that mattered. It gave me a foundation in strategy, complexity, and how organisations really work under pressure.

I built and led the US operations of a French consulting firm at 27. Then spent nearly a decade turning around and scaling a finance and technology company across the US and Canada. Then beverage. Then retail.

Every time, the greatest untapped potential wasn't in the plan. It was in the people.

What never changed was what I loved most — the moment you stop focusing on the noise and start focusing on people and their thinking. I've always known that. Every role confirmed it.

The Growth Within is what happens when you build a practice around the thing you were always doing anyway.

Background

As a dual French-American who has lived and worked across Europe, Asia, and North America, I understand that leadership looks different depending on where you are — and that great strategy only travels as far as the people delivering it.
